Society meetings are held the second Saturday of each month beginning at 1 p.m. unless otherwise noted below. The meetings normally last 2-3 hours. Some meetings are followed by workshops in which the participants can create their own bonsai. Some events have registration costs. Some workshops allow the participant to bring their own materials. Other workshops require purchase of materials supplied by the speaker. The above dates and times are subject to change. Specific details of each meeting will appear on the home page of this web site each month, about 30 days before the scheduled program date. Board Meetings
Meetings of the Society's executive board are usually held the Monday preceding each meeting date. These meetings are open to the general membership. If you would like to attend one of these meetings or address the executive board, you should contact Society president, Robert Wymer, to arrange time on the meeting's agenda.

Second Weekend in October - Carolina Bonsai Expo.
Featuring a nationally known guest artist. Bonsai societies
from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia bring trees for
display at this event. Last year there were over 100 bonsai on exhibit.

each year at the N.C. Fair
in Raleigh, N.C. The outdoor exhibit is in the garden
area.
